The explanation in clause 6.2.2 of 50160 interprets the fusible material-based counterweights as aluminum floating discs and stainless steel assembled floating discs. Why are the floating stainless-steel assembled floating pads also made of fusible materials?
It might be because there are gaps, and the oil and gas do not meet safety requirements
It refers to the material of the seal

If the steel plate is thicker and fully welded, it would no longer be considered a “fusible” material. I’ll think it over on my own in other aspects.:handshake
There is a new type of composite material, fiberglass reinforced plastic, as shown in the picture. Does this still belong to the category of fusible materials?
Fusibility is mainly considered from the perspective of fires, I guess. FRP is definitely considered fusible.
