Our factory is a chemical plant, and we want to outsource the overall maintenance of our equipment. We’re not sure how to determine the cost for this outsourcing service; is there any standard in this industry regarding what percentage of the total cost should be allocated to maintenance?
Normally, there should be a base price set by an external party, with the actual cost being calculated based on the specifics of each equipment repair.
Maintenance is calculated as number of people * price, with the required number of people specified. It is subject to the actual number of attendees. Maintenance work is tendered separately or assigned to the maintenance unit according to the project quota
If you outsource the general contracting, are the equipment and other items that need to be replaced also outsourced?
The purchasing party remains Party A; the task of replacement is outsourced
