If the temperature retention remains constant, is jacketed heat exchange still necessary during this process?

Thermal insulation is a dynamic process that requires PID control: the temperature should be reduced when it exceeds the set value, and increased when it falls below that value. Of course, there is definitely a tolerance associated with the set values. Otherwise, a steady state cannot be maintained. It is relatively difficult to control the temperature of enamel tubes. Temperature control for stainless steel is simpler.
