Due to the nature of the raw materials we use in production, there is still a strong odor remaining on the plates after pressing with the plate and frame filter press. There is a screw vacuum pump right next to it, and I was wondering whether it is possible to create a vacuum environment after the pressing process with the plate and frame filter press
I don’t know about vacuum; we use air to blow it out, cleaning the smell inside the eight liters: lol
May I ask, does this purging operation involve purging the plate and frame after the pressing is completed?
Specify the materials and operating conditions, whether it is open flow or closed flow
Within the framework of environmental protection requirements, if it is necessary to change such operating conditions, ensuring proper ventilation is sufficient. If the environmental standards are not met, chemical methods for modification need to be considered. For reference.
It can be pumped using a vacuum pump; the exhaust gas from the vacuum pump is sent to recovery and waste gas treatment facilities
After filtration, we use compressed air to blow dry the filter plates. The amount of air blown will be greater than that drawn by a vacuum pump. The stubborn smell cannot be removed. Blowing can help reduce it; the absence of odor indicates it’s not stubborn
Generally, it’s better to draw at that position – at a high point or a low point?
Is it blown directly onto the drawing plate after pressing?
