How to unload liquefied hydrocarbon 1-butene

I have never been involved in the unloading of liquefied hydrocarbons, and I was wondering whether all tank trucks discharge material from below, which means that the loading/unloading arms used are also of the downward-type?
The same question: for unloading liquefied hydrocarbons, should a pump or a compressor be used?
