Are there regulations stating that plastic pipes are not allowed in Class A and B factories? Do you have plastic pipes in your workshop? What measures should be taken to make plastic pipes fire-resistant on the outside?
I heard that Class A liquids cannot be transported through plastic pipes. I haven’t heard that plastic pipes are not allowed in Class A facilities. The compressed air connected to pneumatic valves always has a section of plastic tubing
Steel-lined PTFE, steel-lined PP, steel-lined PE, joint jumpers.
The steel lining is used to facilitate the dissipation of static electricity. Can’t materials that do not generate static electricity be transported using plastic pipes instead? Are there also regulations requiring the use of steel lining when transporting non-class A materials in Class A workshops?
You can think about it in a different way: Is it permissible to store combustible and flammable materials in Class A and Class B workshops? Plastic pipes can be used if they are flame-retardant. If it’s not flame-retardant, it represents a safety hazard.
Why is it classified as a Class A factory building? If there are no flammable or explosive materials in a Class A factory building, then it is no longer classified as Class A.
