It can be widely applied in various scenarios, including the utilization of wind and solar energy in large new energy facilities, improving the flexibility of backup power sources, and enabling low-carbon operation in energy-intensive industrial parks. This technology can address the issue of high electricity waste in large new energy facilities, balance power supply during day and night, and improve the quality of power delivery ; By coupling with supporting power sources such as thermal and nuclear power, their flexibility is significantly enhanced to meet the requirements for operation that emphasize high safety, efficiency, and flexibility ; Applied in high-energy-consuming industrial parks to increase the proportion of green electricity supplied to such parks in industries such as aluminum and petrochemicals, thereby enabling low-carbon operation of these parks. It is understood that compared to traditional energy storage technologies, the \"Chunuo\" ultra-high temperature heat pump energy storage technology offers significant advantages such as flexible installation, high energy storage density, low capacity costs, high energy storage efficiency, and the ability to provide high-quality combined cooling, heating, and power supply. The system achieves an electroelectrochemical conversion efficiency of over 65% at scale; it can store heat at temperatures as high as 560 degrees Celsius and as low as minus 60 degrees Celsius. Its energy storage density ranges from 80 to 120 kWh per cubic meter, allowing the energy storage capacity to increase by more than 10 times in the same space. **The Research Institute of Power Investment Group began to develop the gas-based ultra-high temperature heat pump energy storage technology framework in 2018 and embarked on related research efforts. After nearly a decade of arduous research, key technologies related to system configuration, core equipment, and system control have been mastered, resulting in the development of a heat pump energy storage technology framework with complete independent intellectual property rights. Over 100 invention patents have been filed, and the company was at the forefront in formulating the first set of standards for heat pump energy storage technology in China.
