I recently encountered a project where the flow-limiting orifice plate is required to be installed on the equipment nozzle. I checked some information and found no specific requirements. Could you please help me answer this question? Can this flow-limiting orifice plate be installed on the equipment nozzle?
I have never seen this approach done before. What are the benefits? Save a pair of flanges?
