What is the general theoretical equilibrium concentration of C4 isomerization out of the reactor? What is the actual production?
Thank you for starting the topic. I would like to know the scale and technology of the isomerization units that are currently in production or under construction in China. I know that PetroChina Guangxi Petrochemical and Sinopec Tahe use UOP and have been put into production. Are there any others?
What are the determining factors for using one-pass or circulating hydrogen? Whether the raw materials should be used in one-pass or circulating type mainly depends on the octane number requirements, right? Are there any other considerations?
Recycled hydrogen may be required by the catalyst; I agree with your point of view on the choice of one-pass and recycle processes. The isomerization reaction has equilibrium limits. The octane number improvement of one pass is limited, and the recycle reaction needs to have reached a higher product octane number.
