Recently, the Ningbo branch of China Chemical Siding Company received good news from Zibo Qixiang Tengda Chemical Co., Ltd.: the pilot-scale production project with an annual capacity of 1,000 tons of aldehyde compounds, designed by the company, was successfully commissioned after a single batch of material was used, and qualified products of new jasmonal and anisylpropanal were produced successfully. This marks the official entry of the project into a new phase of stable operation. The aldehyde production project that has been put into operation relies on a new process independently developed by Qixiang Tengda’s product research and development team; it uses domestically produced methacraldehyde to manufacture aldehyde products, and boasts significant advantages such as mild reaction conditions, low investment requirements, a short production process, and rapid results. The project was successfully put into operation. Not only were two high-end specialty chemical fragrance products successfully developed and launched, but it also enabled an upgrade in both the production capacity and value of the owner’s existing methyl methacrylate plant. This has significantly improved the efficiency of resource utilization and production flexibility at the plant, effectively optimizing the company’s existing assets. The project has thus laid a solid foundation for the owner to refine its portfolio of specialty chemical products and extend its industrial chain.
