Recently, the official website of Shandong Binnong Technology Co., Ltd. announced that the technical review of the environmental impact assessment report for the company’s production capacity expansion projects aimed at manufacturing 1,000 tons per year of fluazinam, 500 tons per year of pretilachlor, and 1,000 tons per year of sulfentrazone has been successfully completed. On March 12, the Environmental Review and Service Center for Construction Projects of Shandong Province hosted a technical review meeting in Jinan regarding the environmental impact report for the technological renovation project at Shandong Binnong Technology Co., Ltd. This project involves the production of 1,000 tons per year of fluopyram, 500 tons per year of clethodim, and 1,000 tons per year of pyrasulfotole technical grade materials. Guo Anyong, the company’s deputy general manager, Su Fansheng, the deputy chief engineer, and Mu Haibin, the director of the Environmental Protection Department, attended the meeting and provided on-site answers to relevant questions. Previously, on March 4, the Evaluation and Service Center along with the experts completed an on-site inspection of the project. At the meeting, the experts and representatives present watched video footage of the existing plant area and its surrounding environment, listened to an introduction by the project developer regarding the project overview, as well as a presentation by the evaluation team on the main contents of the \"environmental impact report.\" After careful consideration, the expert group unanimously agreed that, with strict implementation of various effective pollution control measures and risk prevention strategies, the project can meet the requirements related to standardized pollutant discharge, total quantity control, and risk management. From an environmental protection perspective, the construction of this project is feasible, and the environmental impact report has successfully passed the expert review.
