Previously, at this temperature, it passed through a temperature module (without power distribution) and was connected only to the PLC-200 EM231 (with power distribution at the EM231 terminals). I need to use a safety barrier with one input and two outputs. Remove A-previous. Connect the one-input two-output power distribution safety barrier directly. Am I doing this right? In the diagram shown by the original poster, the temperature wiring corresponds to a two-wire transmitter module that requires an external power supply; as shown in the diagram, after adding a safety barrier in between, the power supply for the field transmitter module comes from the safety barrier. Meanwhile, the output of the safety barrier is an active 4-20mA signal (some safety barriers provide both active and passive outputs). The active 4-20mA signal can be connected directly to A+ (which must be shorted to RA+) and A-. There are two types of current signals shown in the diagram: one is the four-wire active 4-20mA signal, and the other is the 4-20mA signal that requires an external power supply
