I have a question regarding an electric contact level gauge!

The electric contact level gauge used for monitoring the level in a 25t boiler drum always shows a full level (for display purposes only); the glass gauge on site indicates only 50% level； I suspect the electrode became conductive during vaporization; the problem persisted even after replacing it. How to solve it? The test in cold water proceeded normally; when all connections on the unit were removed and the resistance between the electrode and the housing was measured, with the red test lead connected to the electrode terminal and the black test lead connected to the housing, a value of slightly negative 3 was displayed ； Swap the test leads to over 100 K. What is the reason for this? Thank you
It indicates the presence of grounding or leakage, as well as whether scaling is severe inside the cylinder.
Why not use a dual-balanced level gauge?
What type of display instrument is used for your electrical contacts? Once it is confirmed that the wiring is correct, please flush the level gauge and then adjust the corresponding resistance values. Adjust both the water resistance and the air resistance – make the water resistance lower and the air resistance higher, until the readings are normal
