The specific parameters are as follows: Medium: 20%–75% sulfuric acid; Temperature: Room temperature–125°C; Pressure: Atmospheric pressure–-0.095 MPa. It is required to measure temperature, pressure, liquid level, sulfuric acid concentration, and sulfuric acid density in real time, with the measurement values to be displayed on-site as well as transmitted via a 4–20 mA signal. See if there are any instruments, meters, control valves, etc. that meet the requirements. Please actively recommend manufacturers and models of instruments and meters that meet the requirements. The measurement of sulfuric acid can be carried out as long as care is taken regarding crystallization and corrosion, which are common issues.

Temperature-rated PTFE sleeves, pressure sensors of type HC276 with PTFE diaphragms, level radars equipped with PTFE isolation windows – all control valves are also lined with PTFE: domestic products are sufficient for these applications. Density four-fluoride lined mass flow meter, Rossmount is the best choice. For the concentration, please contact EMC Corporation in the United States. For pressure transmission, Yokogawa or Rosemount are the best choices, with diaphragm HC276. HC can only be used at around 100 degrees Celsius; tantalum might be required, but the temperature must not exceed 150 degrees Celsius.

It’s not necessarily straightforward either; for example, how can all gauges with linings operate reliably under negative pressure? If there is a large amount of steam in the tank, measuring the liquid level using radar may also be unreliable. We have used valves with PTFE linings from 4 different brands, including those designed for specific applications; almost all of them did not function properly. Some of them broke down after just half an hour of operation, but after making adjustments to them, they were able to operate for over 10 years, with a minimum of 4 years of service life.
