The orifice plate flow meter has a long history of development, and thanks to its various advantages, it is highly favored by users in the field of fluid measurement. However, cleaning traditional orifice plate flow meters poses a problem for many users. Next, the editor will share with you the methods for cleaning orifice plate flow meters. The “Bones cleaning method” involves placing a cleaning flange inside the orifice plate flow meter, with a high-pressure spray gun attached to this flange; this allows the high-pressure spray gun to clean the interior of the orifice plate flow meter by spraying cleaning agents at high pressure. The new cleaning method for orifice plate flowmeters offers significant advantages: it greatly reduces the cost of cleaning these devices, as there is no longer a need for heavy lifting equipment on the part of those who perform the cleaning, nor are complex cleaning procedures required. Additionally, this new method shortens the cleaning time required for orifice plate flowmeters, thereby reducing production losses associated with the time spent on regular cleaning. Is orifice plate cleaning that complicated?
Our orifice plate flow meters have never been cleaned. The cleaning methods mentioned above seem quite troublesome and costly, representing a one-time investment only! A flushing flange needs to be installed, along with a high-pressure flushing gun. Generally, after the pipes are cleaned, there is no debris left to wash away. If flushing is really necessary, the bolts can be removed directly and the gaskets replaced. :P
