The pressure difference before and after the control valve is around 4 MPa. During the construction phase, a single-seat valve was chosen to save costs; however, after it came online, it was found that the control valve didn’t function at all and there was significant leakage. This also highlights one issue: companies are always reluctant to spend a lot of money on hiring high-calified professionals in the field of instrumentation; such companies don’t even know how much a valve costs.

We’re using tooling now; what form is it in? Can a corner valve be used?
A sleeve valve can be used; an angle valve for high-pressure applications is also an option
For control valves with high differential pressure, the flow rate, temperature, diameter, and such factors generally require a cage type design
A single-seat control valve shouldn’t experience the problem you mentioned, unless the valve core is damaged or the actuator for the valve is too small
