Guys, I need recommendations for manufacturers of pointer-type differential pressure level gauges. The one I’m using right now is from WIKA; it can be used to measure the level in closed tanks containing ethylene at -160 degrees Celsius. There are two pressure tubes connected to the high and low pressure sides of the gauge at the installation site. However, this type of gauge needs to be recalibrated frequently, as its accuracy decreases over time. I’d like to replace it – do you have any manufacturer recommendations? Differential pressure level transmitters are usually flanged; are there any differential pressure level transmitters that can be connected directly to pressure pipes?
A regular differential pressure level transmitter should suffice; the pressure tapping tube is used to take the pressure reading... I wonder what size your pressure tapping tube is? {:9001:}
I think it’s 8. Differential pressure level gauges usually use flanges, right? Are there any that have pressure pipes connected directly? Mainly, better manufacturers
At such a low temperature, flange-type sealants won’t work; pressure transfer tubes can be used, as well as Rosemount and EJA products
It's fine as long as it has a pressure tap type. The temperature can indeed be brought to room temperature for measurement by closing the tee on the pressure tap.
