I searched online for the differences between circuit breakers and residual current devices, but I don’t quite understand them. Could someone explain this in simple and easy-to-understand terms? Also, when it comes to household electricity use, is it better to use circuit breakers or residual current devices? If the circuit breaker is C20, will it trip immediately if the household electricity consumption exceeds 20A, or are there limits regarding time and current level? Do circuit breakers and leakage protectors trip at the moment of a short circuit? There are quite a few questions; I hope the experts will kindly take the time to provide answers
