Help: Connecting a flow meter to a computer via RS232

The EPI flow meter is connected to a laptop via RS232. The message “Can’t open Modbus communication port” displayed in the software – where is the problem? Please help, thank you so much!
The IP address, port, and baud rate all need to be set, right?
This problem does often occur with rotations. Many people here use COM port docking stations with their laptops, which provides much better stability.
First, check to see if your drivers are installed properly.
