May I ask if there is any further calibration work to be done on all the flowmeters once they arrive at the site?
Generally, after installation it is necessary to adjust the zero point. For devices such as mass flow meters, electromagnetic flow meters, and vortex flow meters, it may be sufficient not to adjust the zero point; however, differential pressure flow meters definitely require such adjustment, and there are specific methods for doing so. Many other types of flow meters also need to have their zero points adjusted
Most online flowmeters cannot be calibrated on-site; they need to be sent to a metrology department for verification.
It’s generally not necessary. After installation and power supply, calibrate it with the system, make sure the connections are correct, check the zero point; if there is any drift, address it, otherwise wait for the water to be connected.

After the new flow meter is installed, all that’s needed is to set the range and units; zeroing is required on-site only when there is a significant difference in density between the actual fluid and water or air.
