How to use the annual maintenance period to grow rapidly

I started working in instrumentation later in my career, and I didn’t go through a complete training process for new projects, so there are many things I don’t quite understand. So how can one make use of the annual maintenance period to learn and grow quickly?
Read more, listen more, and remember more. Back in the day, in order to learn*, I bought a voice recorder so that I could jot down key points at any time and listen to them again when I got home at night
With a good mentor, it will go fast; otherwise, it depends on one’s own insight and reading
Start with the instruments that are located at the site; once you figure them all out, you’ll have a pretty good understanding of the whole area!
Major overhauls are excellent learning opportunities, as they present many situations that are not usually encountered
Read more, think more, and do more – there’s nothing difficult about it. Experience is gained through practice; the more repairs you do, the more experience you gain in identifying faults and analyzing their causes
When you’re not sure, look more, think more, and ask more questions; once you know how to do it, think first, then act, and ask questions afterward. Taking notes is definitely necessary.
