There are differences between the double-flange level gauge and the glass plate level gauge on site. I want to check the double-flange level gauge, but I have never operated it before and don’t know how to do it. Also, is it possible to remove the diaphragm box so that the medium can flow directly into the capillary tube (this would help avoid errors caused by variations in the amount of new silicone oil used)?
This silicone oil does not cause any errors at all; when the readings from the two level gauges differ, it is first necessary to determine which gauge is faulty and by how much the deviation is, as well as to check whether the baselines and measurement ranges of the two gauges are identical. If all of these are fine, check for any blockages in the glass level gauge, as well as any displacement issues with the double-flange level gauge and any damage to its diaphragm. If you use silicone oil, you’re definitely going to get punished

First, check the glass plate level gauge to see if it’s clogged. Then verify whether the measurement bases and ranges for these two levels are the same; if they’re not, the readings will differ. I’ve never heard of calibrating by removing the diaphragm box – in that case, is there still silicone oil present? Place a flat surface there to see if the reading shifts, which would indicate such a problem.
