May I ask what type of valve this is in the PID diagram? What does the capital letter E in the middle of the symbol mean?
Check the legend in the P&ID
Does your PID not come with process instructions?
I can’t understand it. Please help the original poster by upvoting this post, so that maybe someone knowledgeable will know what kind of valve this is.
The process design specifications clearly define the meaning of the letter codes, although the meanings assigned by different designers to these letters can vary considerably. Judging from the picture, it seems to be a pneumatic on/off valve.
Electric control valve – it’s just a guess. There’s also a check valve ahead; could it refer to the motor? It’s not a valve but rather a pump
It’s a electro-hydraulic valve, right? Where is it used?
