I went to a state-owned chemical plant to learn*; it has been in operation for over a decade, but it looks like a waste recycling site. I have many thoughts on this, but I’ll omit the details here – thousands of words worth.
Speaking of the instruments, the DCS is from Foxboro, while most of the control valves are from Fisher in the United States. The on/off valves are unrecognizable; they are likely also imported. All the other pressure differentials are from Rosemount and EJA.
There is also a work section that uses positioners from Japanese company Yamawa. There are no signs of repairs at the site, and it seems that the bolts haven’t been removed either, as they aren’t rusty. The meter technician has plenty of free time to play in leagues!

The body of the rotameter should not be made of carbon steel. Is this a positive-displacement gear flow meter? Check whether there are any model numbers or other identifiers for reference on the instrument panel or the body.
Koln produced a rotameter with a rotor that moves in a transverse direction and in the opposite flow direction
It looks like a metal tube float flow meter.
The rotor can be mounted horizontally or vertically; it doesn’t seem to be a rotor at all.
