Guys who are experts in this field, if you’re interested in applying wireless video surveillance technology in overseas projects, is there any manufacturer information available for reference? If any seniors have used it, could they recommend reliable manufacturers? Also, please explain what requirements and precautions are necessary for wireless monitoring technology.
Since the camera locations on-site are mostly high up and there are not many of them, it is not convenient to run cables separately. Currently, transmitters can have wireless functionality, so I’m wondering if cameras can also transmit wirelessly.
Because the data volume for this video is high at the moment, and there are no wireless transmission towers.
There are cameras with wireless transmission capabilities; Hikvision and Dahua offer such models. They consist of a regular camera combined with a wireless transmission device. There are two modes of operation: one involves sending and receiving data through telecommunications providers, which requires a phone card; this type of data transmission incurs costs but isn’t limited by distance. The other mode involves using a separate set of wireless transmission equipment (CPE+AP); this method is free, but the transmission range is limited, usually to around 3 km
