This post was last edited by zxb1990 on 2017-3-28 at 21:58. This is a pilot switch, not a pilot level gauge, haha! The external level gauge utilizes the principle of sonar ranging. The installation position of the external switch probe is also used to emit sonar waves in order to determine whether there is liquid present or not! The external level gauge is installed in a surface-mounted manner, requiring no drilling or opening of containers; it operates without interrupting operations or using fire. I’m not sure whether you are using guided-wave radar or pulse radar, but both types require flanges for installation. The accuracy of external level gauges and radar level gauges is the same; it just depends on which one the user prefers, haha!
