As the title suggests: Daily measuring instruments (oil samples: HighAccurate; gas vortex flow meters, thermal types); Liquid electromagnetic, ultrasound, etc.) ; What are the requirements for installation? 1. Should a bypass line be designed? If so, how can it be ensured that the valves on this bypass line do not leak? The use of a bypass line may lead to inaccurate measurements due to leaks, while its absence might affect operations such as startup/shutdown purging and routine calibration. In our facilities, flow meters for oil lines generally come equipped with bypass valves, whereas flow meters for utility systems and buried pipelines do not have such valves. 2. How are the measuring instruments calibrated? It may not be practical to carry out calibrations during maintenance periods, as it’s impossible to complete all calibrations in just 2 months ; It may not be possible to conduct inspections at any time for some instruments; it might not be practical to have a spare instrument for every measuring device. So what do people do in such cases?
I don’t see any dual-wire models among the flow measurement instruments; extra efforts will be required during maintenance.
I’ve never heard of a situation where the absence of a bypass line affects the purging of the device; my flow meter doesn’t have a bypass line either, yet the device can still be purged. If it’s for inspection, that’s even less possible – how can you measure anything without a gauge? It’s just giving something away for free.

The brand to be used is HighAccurate, and the designed operating temperature is 40°C. Using steam for purging will inevitably lead to problems such as water hammer. What if the meter gets damaged as a result?
If no calibration is done, how can you settle the accounts, and how can you know that the errors are within an acceptable range?

1 Whether to add a secondary line or not depends on the characteristics of the material; for some materials, adding a secondary line only leads to blockages and is pointless. There are also no standards for measuring instruments that require the use of a secondary line. 2. With so many measuring instruments, it’s necessary to develop a proper maintenance plan, handling them in batches; sometimes maintenance is carried out during gaps in operations (unplanned shutdowns).

Measurement instruments generally do not come equipped with auxiliary wires; such wires are installed only in control systems; Inspections can be scheduled appropriately according to the company’s circumstances; those that cannot be postponed can be carried out alongside equipment maintenance.
