As the title suggests, there is a theory that different materials can experience electrochemical corrosion when in contact with each other over time; therefore, copper pipes for air ducts should not be used together with stainless steel couplings. Dear friends, do you use it in the same way on site as well? Have there been any problems? Are there any regulations regarding this? I’ve seen on-site instances where copper clamps were used to compress stainless steel pipes, resulting in the rupture of the air supply ducts; such a method is definitely not acceptable.
Copper pipes are generally secured with copper clamps, while stainless steel pipes use collets.
Can it be put on? I don’t think it can; I’ve never tried to put it on before. But their shapes are very different, so that hat probably won’t fit.
Yes, that’s correct. I’m referring to the air ducts being made of purple copper, while the couplings are made of stainless steel

Your way of using it is a bit dangerous – much more so than what I mentioned. There are serious risks associated with using it in that manner!
We often use them interchangeably. However, it is recommended that, if you do not want to replace the copper pipes, stainless steel ferrules should be used for all couplings – their resistance to disconnection is certainly better than that of stainless steel pipes paired with stainless steel ferrules ； Use stainless steel pipes whenever possible, as they are resistant to corrosion after all. These are all of the same specification and can be assembled together.
Yes, crimping copper tubes with stainless steel collars will compress the copper tubes, making them appear dented; yet the connection remains very strong!
