DCS system configuration

Hello everyone. Due to renovations on site, some additional instrument points have been added (all of them are DCS points). The DCS cabinet needs to be expanded, and it is also necessary to configure these new instrument points. Is it possible to configure these additional points while the entire system is in operation?
