Corrosion protection for HCL pipeline instruments

Has anyone encountered this issue? With HCL-based instruments, once they break down, replacing them still results in frequent failures. We also use N2 to purge them for a long time during replacement processes – what do you guys do in such situations?
What does that mean? ? ? I don’t understand!
Hydrogen chloride pipeline instruments are prone to corrosion and damage; how to avoid this?
At first, 316 didn’t work, so it was changed to Hastelloy to ensure longer usage.
Which specific measuring instrument is the poster referring to? There are many parameters for the hydrogen chloride medium, such as temperature, pressure, flow rate, differential pressure, etc. They don’t even mention which specific instruments, it’s such nonsense. If it is an external ultrasonic flow meter, corrosion is also an environmental issue; what does it have to do with the medium (unless there is a total leak)?
We are a chlor-alkali plant; we’ve seen plenty of HCl and there have been no leaks. It’s definitely due to the selection criteria
The pressure guide tubes we use now are organic in nature, similar to PP tubes
