As the title suggests, there are several coal silos in a project that store lignite and whose level needs to be measured. Previously, Rosemount radar level gauges were chosen, but they wouldn’t function properly despite attempts to adjust them. I would like to ask the experts for some guidance. Thank you!
Can’t get Rossmont’s radar to work? It should last for a few days at least, or at least it should be possible to measure values at that time
If you are unable to adjust the radar or ultrasonic level gauge by yourself, you can contact the manufacturer for assistance.

Which model is being used? What exactly are the abnormal phenomena? Is there pulsation, or is the reading on the gauge different from the actual level of material? A specific description of the fault is needed in order to make a judgment
We have tried various measurement methods, such as radar, weights, ultrasonic waves, etc., but none of them worked well; they were not capable of providing accurate measurements over the long term. Currently, we rely on manual measurement of the silo’s material level. A few years ago I saw a description of it; it’s like doing a CT scan, with a 3D image of the coal pile being created in the end, but the investment required must be very high.
What model of radar is it, from Romon? What exactly does abnormal debugging refer to? Provide a detailed description of the operating conditions and existing faults
I would like to ask you for advice. We have a storage tank for dilute sulfuric acid; the tank is made of plastic and its height is approximately 8 meters. To prevent the dilute sulfuric acid solution from stratifying, compressed air is introduced at the bottom of the tank to stir the mixture, which results in foam forming on the surface of the liquid. I would like to know if there are any good methods for measuring the level of the solution, with accurate readings required
For dust, radar, ultrasound, and RF admittance methods are all ineffective. If continuous output is required, try using a weight; just be careful that the weight doesn’t get buried. Digital switching is simpler to handle, and torque control can solve the problem. I work on domestic instruments, so we can exchange more ideas. :)
