Which friend has worked with the Fisher DVC6200 double-acting positioner, specifically with the configuration where the forward and reverse actions are switched, as well as the two output ports being reversed?
I’ve really never used a double-acting one; I’ve only used single-acting ones
Can the two output ports be swapped directly? Can their on/off status be changed?
Friend, I have to say you have a very imaginative mind and unique ways of thinking. But, it’s not allowed. You need to change the configuration; you can use 475 or the on-site buttons for debugging. The specific menu structure and step-by-step instructions can be found on the forum; they should be available there.

Could you tell me how to modify the configuration? I checked and it seems there’s no such function. For two-way valves, when the signal increases, the valve stem extends; with A connected to the cylinder and B to the other cylinder, the valve stem retracts, with A on the lower side and B on the upper side. If the configuration can be modified directly, then there’s no need for special installation procedures – just connect things as needed
