Figure 1: Schematic of a dual-coil control solenoid. What do the symbols marked in red in this diagram represent? What do the symbols marked with red and green circles in Figures 2 and 3 mean?
It’s the black part of the directional valve, the spring; take a broken directional valve and disassemble it, and then you’ll understand everything
I didn’t explain it clearly enough. What I want to ask is what the symbol in the red-marked area in Figure 1 means? What does the symbol marked by the green line in Figure 2 mean? I can’t understand the markings; even after taking it apart I still don’t get it, and there’s nothing broken on it.
I work in production processes, and when I encounter this type of solenoid valve, if I can understand the symbols on the schematic diagram of the directional control valve, I know how to deal with any faults that arise during production. For example, in the case of a problem with the external air supply or a loss of signal, will the valve maintain its position or still operate?
It is necessary to check whether the valve diaphragm head has a reset function; if it has a reset spring, then it is necessary to determine whether it operates in the fault-open or fault-close mode.
Is the red button on the first two-coil solenoid the manual operation button for the solenoid? In the second image, the indicator circled in red shows that this solenoid valve is a pilot-operated solenoid valve; is what’s inside the green line the indicator for the manual operation button?
Figure 1 should be controlled by two solenoid valves, right? The area inside the red circle is probably for manual locking; not sure. In Figure 2, the red circle shows the spring and air supply circuit; it is in the power-off control state, while the part below represents the powered state. I’m not sure whether it’s manual or automatic locking – it seems to be automatic locking; Is the green-marked area in Figure 2 manual operation?
