The pressure transmitter readings do not match those of the McLeod vacuum gauge

Hello everyone! We are currently using Rosemount’s 3051 series gauge pressure transmitters to measure the vacuum level, and the reading is 800 Pa. However, when using a McLeod vacuum gauge (a type of mercury vacuum gauge), the reading is 450 Pa. Does anyone know why there is such a large discrepancy? Thank you

You need to consider several issues: 1. Whether the pressure measurement points are in the same location, and whether this affects the measurement results; 2. Whether the two gauges themselves are accurate; 3. If everything is fine, use a standard gauge to take another measurement.
The measurement points are in the same place. Both tables are calibrated and have just been purchased from the manufacturer.
First of all, let’s consider the accuracy issue of the two types of gauges. I encountered a case where a user compared a pressure gauge with a pointer display to an intelligent transmitter. Furthermore, due to the relatively low pressure, I recommend analyzing the two different instruments separately to determine which one is accurate
With such a large differential pressure, it’s likely that one of the measurements is inaccurate. Calibrate the two meters before taking measurements....
I was referring to McLeod vacuometers and pressure transmitters, not oil fill gauges.
