Regarding the measurement of phosphate flow rates at around 20% and 50%, I’ve checked but haven’t found a satisfactory method for measurement; hence I’m bringing this up again for discussion and help! Electromagnetic flowmeter from Rosemount; linings of ETFE or PTFE are available. Platinum-iridium electrodes can be used, as well as titanium electrodes
If the phosphate concentration changes, the electrical conductivity should also change, right? . Starting from the basic principles, I guess an electromagnetic flowmeter can’t measure anything accurately at all~~~ :P
Measure the conductivity of phosphate solutions at various concentrations; if it exceeds 20 us/cm, electromagnetic methods should be given priority
In the past, electromagnetic methods were used; the problem was that this type of flow meter failed when scale formed in the medium. If scale forms every day, it’s impossible to clean it every day. In a word, I still think it’s not the best choice.
You could try a capacitive electromagnetic flowmeter; it should work well, such as Yokogawa’s CA model.
