I’ve made some videos recently and will be posting them gradually to share with everyone. This is a thermoresistor (thermocouple) with a spring mechanism; it fits well with the protective sleeve, ensuring full contact between the probe and the sleeve. It features a fast response time, accurate measurements, and excellent vibration resistance. 1930
Additionally, we have discussed with many colleagues whether to use thermal oil or thermal silicone grease. Our view is: 1. Isn’t heat conduction through direct metal-to-metal contact sufficient? 2. When used for an extended period of time, especially at high temperatures, heat transfer oils/silicone greases may oxidize and deteriorate, their thermal conductivity may change, and their heat transfer efficiency may not be optimal ； It is even corrosive, and can damage the sensors as well as the insulation cover. 3. In some specific situations, the use of thermal oil/silicone grease may not be allowed. 4. If the sensor is indeed too short to make contact with the bottom of the insulation cover, there’s nothing else to do but to use thermal oil or silicone grease as a workaround; sometimes temperature isn’t such an important parameter after all. .
