In what form are steam transmitters used?

I would like to ask the experts: when using steam, is it better to install a 1/2 NPF(F) transmitter directly along with a condensation elbow and a butt-welded needle valve, or should a 316L diaphragm capillary be used?
A pressure guide tube + condensation tank + transmitter is a good option; using a capillary tube can easily cause the silicon oil inside it to vaporize, resulting in damage to the diaphragm box.
I’ve never heard of capillaries being used for steam; that’s definitely something people do out of sheer boredom with nothing to do.
It’s absolutely unnecessary; of course, there are exceptions for urgent needs where stock is available in capillary form.
In extremely cold weather, when it is not convenient to use heat tracing and the steam is of low pressure, capillaries can be used； In other cases, it is recommended to use a condenser tank with a piping pressure transmitter
