This post was last edited by All instruments are great on 2017-8-17 at 11:51. The display of the ABB AO2020 analyzer is very dim, as shown in the image. Is this related to adjusting the brightness, or is there a faulty light inside the instrument? Thank you

It might have a backlight function that isn’t turned on； Or it shows that the contrast can be adjusted; when the backlight is set appropriately at night, it’s visible, but not during the day
It used to work fine; it would darken after staying still for a long time, but then it would light up again once operated on. Now it stays dark all the time, and doesn’t light up no matter what is done. I haven’t changed any other settings; it ended up like this on its own.

We have encountered situations in the past where smart digital displays had screens that were too dark and difficult to see clearly; the solution was to disassemble the device and find that the connection cable for the screen was loose. Reconnecting it properly resolved the issue. This might give you an idea that you can try.
