The unit has an Elster internal contact 4-channel ultrasonic flow meter, which has already been calibrated. After the calibration, it was possible to make an appointment with the manufacturer, and thus the probe was cleaned. Two opinions emerged: 1. There’s a problem with the hammer; the ultrasonic level gauge here sometimes gives inaccurate readings. Just remove it, clean it, and reinstall it – go ahead and do it without worry!

Your company must be very wealthy – even a simple probe needs to be recalibrated; they can afford to be arbitrary with their money. Is this flow meter used for trade settlement, that it needs to be sent for inspection so frequently?
Previously, it was required to be sent for inspection after 2 years, and it was indeed used for trade handover.
There is no impact; the probe won’t get damaged, nor will the compressed crystals be ruined. How can there be any effect on accuracy? Is recalibration necessary? Ultrasound measures the time difference, not the pressure on the diaphragm
Their claim is that the probe was dirty during the inspection, but it passed the test. I cleaned the probe when it was put into use, but at that point it wasn’t necessarily qualified for calibration.
