I encountered Melsungen SV-Ⅱ positioners on site; in two of those positioners, only the pressure gauge at the inlet side had pressure, while no compressed air came out from the outlet side, even though there should have been signal output. The pressure gauge on the exhaust port also shows no pressure. What’s going on? There is also another locator for which the inlet and outlet ports have no pressure; the pressure readings are normal, and the pressure reducing filter is also in good condition. The positioner main board is also good.
The first possible cause is that the constant orifice of the regulator is blocked, resulting in no air output~~ What is the quality of your instrument air? The second issue is that there seems to be no instrument air at all; check the instrument air supply~~
