Fault phenomenon: The company’s boiler system uses the JX-300XP control unit; on two XP313 cards, the values displayed for things such as motor current and certain flow rates sometimes do not change, even though the instruments on site show normal readings. Fault handling: 1. First, test the flowchart screen to see if the values on the flowchart are not updated in a timely manner; as a result, the values do not change when the flowchart page is switched. 2. Power off the instrument again and restart it; even after disconnecting and reconnecting the wires at the terminal blocks, the value remains unchanged. 3. Check that the grounding of the instrument circuits is normal, and there are no external interferences during the transmission of the signal lines. 3. Finally, reinsert the card; the data returns to normal, with new changes. (Fortunately, these data are used for triggering alarms.) This situation occurred several more times later; when I consulted the personnel in the control room, they said that charge accumulation was to blame and that there was no effective solution. I would like to ask the experts in this field: what exactly causes this situation, and is there any way to resolve it once and for all? I’m worried that other components involved in regulating or interlocking parameters might also experience the same issue.
The instruments require single-ended grounding and shielded cables; the electrical side should not be grounded, while the shield wire on the DCS side should be connected to the ground wire.
All of these are normal; there’s no problem.
Generally, the key signals are on redundant cards that can switch automatically. Generally, there are also cases of fake death due to stuck components. Just reinsert it and it will be fine. New systems are relatively rare; I have encountered systems that are 5-6 years old or older. . It’s best to have spare parts to replace it. .

It seems to be a form of crash, just like when a computer or phone crashes and requires a power restart. How long have you been using your system? We have a set that has been in use for 10 years without encountering the kind of problem you mentioned
It was started to be used in 2010; it appeared around the end of 2014, and it appeared again last year.
Try replacing the card holder and the base. Some are hidden hardware faults, and replacement and inspection is the simplest method.
