A throttle expansion valve, also known as a J-T valve, is designed for use in situations where there is a large pressure difference. Reputable manufacturers of control valves should be able to produce such valves, provided that accurate process parameters are supplied and the valve is properly calculated. For safety reasons, choose imported or joint-venture brands such as FISHER, SAMSON, etc. It seems there are no special valves designed specifically like steam valves.
