Power distribution panel 24VDC DC power redundancy requirements

The 24VDC DC power supply provided by the external power distribution panel for the control system shall meet the N+1 redundancy requirement； The 24VDC DC power supply shall meet the 1:1 redundancy requirement. Which is better here, the N+1 redundancy requirement or the 1:1 redundancy requirement? The manufacturer said that N+1 is much more expensive than 1:1, and I can’t see what’s so good about N+1. I’d like to ask the experts: which one is actually the best?
According to safety requirements, the control system should be powered by two power sources; if it is powered by a single source, N+1 redundancy is sufficient.
Currently, the control systems use 24V power supply with 1:1 redundancy provided by the manufacturer itself, with the redundant modules being implemented through their own circuit boards or distribution devices. The N+1 configuration is now rarely used for external power distribution, as it involves a complex structure, more potential failure points, and high costs. P+F, the leading manufacturer of N+1 systems abroad, also has the issue of failures caused by different phases (it’s not clear whether this problem has been resolved yet). In fact, the electrical load for instruments is generally not high, so 1:1 redundancy is an excellent solution.
