On the company’s desulfurization spray pipes, several DN80 solenoid valves lined with PTFE were used, operating at a voltage of 24V. The manufacturer says that the solenoid valve requires 120W of power. I’m using a 24V power supply with 20A capacity – why still can’t I drive the solenoid valve? The solenoid coil resistance is 5.1 ohms!

A 24V power supply of 20A can theoretically power up to 4 solenoid valves, so I wonder how many solenoid valves the original poster has connected? Have you tried powering it on with just one unit?
If it’s convenient, you can take a photo of the solenoid valve’s parameters and send it; everyone can help take a look at them. Sometimes, the people from the manufacturer also hear about it, and it may deviate from the reality.
Please provide more detailed information so that it’s easier to determine where the problem lies.

It’s just that the main valve spool isn’t moving. 3. This type of valve has pressure requirements for the pipeline. It is recommended to use cut-off valves such as cylinder ball valves.

Check the manual to see if the operation of the solenoid valve is related to the presence of process medium. I asked the manufacturer that a 480W power supply is not sufficient; what wattage would be suitable?
A 20A switching power supply can drive up to four of them. Also, what is the pipeline pressure at the pilot valve – is it sufficient to overcome the suction force of the electromagnet in order to open the valve? Try using a screwdriver to see if there is any suction force on the coil
Pneumatic solenoid valves are prone to getting stuck if the medium is not clean. What is the medium pressure? Ball valves are preferable, or butterfly valves are cheaper
