As indicated by the red circles in the diagram, what is its function? Is it for automatic discharge? The five-valve assembly located below the differential pressure transmitter already serves a discharge function; it seems that its role is somewhat redundant. Is this the standard configuration for Rosemount products? Newbie seeking advice from experts! Thank you!
To ensure there are no bubbles in the diaphragm box, it should be filled with the medium. You need to arrange them and take a look when submitting the form
It is standard to have coplanar instruments: two for differential pressure and one for pressure. There is no automatic drainage; instead, manual drainage is required – one needs to unscrew the small drain valve to remove any remaining fluid. This is done during operation as well as during maintenance. Be careful not to use too much force when turning it back after taking a photo. Is it redundant? Not all of them are equipped with valve assemblies
It is standard for tables; if a five-valve assembly is not used, discharge can be carried out through it.
Not all are equipped with a five-valve assembly; when a three-valve assembly is used, discharge is carried out through it.
When equipped with a three-valve assembly or connected directly to a pressure lead, it will discharge through it
By the way, you chose a Rosemount differential pressure transmitter with connectors here; you then went ahead and shortened the tubes as well as added other connectors to connect it to the five-valve assembly. With so many connection points, doesn’t that increase the risk of leaks? Were costs saved? Isn’t the integrated five-valve assembly straight from Rosemount a good option?
Does Rosemount offer planar flanges with a built-in five-valve assembly? Or add three more valve assemblies on top of that?
By removing the coplanar flanges and installing an integrated coplanar five-valve assembly instead, a leak test is carried out during manufacturing, which is much more reliable than your approach.
Although I don’t quite agree with the design concept behind installing this table, the construction work is really excellent.
