Is this a safety barrier that allows one-way entry and two-way exit? 1 2 What are the two wiring sections for? How to connect a three-wire instrument? What does HHC in the picture mean? I don’t understand it yet; please give me some guidance, seniors
It’s a safety barrier with one input and two outputs; terminals 1 and 2 are connected to active signals. In simple terms, it’s a 4-20mA signal whose current can be directly measured using the ammeter function on a multimeter. For example, mass flow meters are usually of the 4-wire type, with two wires for power supply and two wires for transmitting the current signal. For three-wire instruments, the positive signal from the field instrument should be connected to terminal 1, while the negative terminal of the power supply should be connected to terminal 2. HHC indicates that the handheld controller can be used for configuring the instrument either in the cabinet or on-site.
