The Password Dog needs to be purchased from Zhejiang Zhongkong; it is only bought for practical projects, and it’s not necessary for individual learning. Without a hard dog, it can generally be used for 2 hours. Then turn it off and on again, and it can still run for 2 more hours.
If you are just learning*, you don’t need to use a password dog! However, without a password dog, some programming languages may not be usable!
