Wireless meters are now widely used. Are their performances reliable? Has anyone used them? Please share your experiences
It has a wide range of applications, by no means. When it comes to reliability, no matter how well wireless meters are made, they still fall short compared to wired meters. Especially in bad weather, with strong winds, heavy rain, and lightning, the more anxious you are to get the data, the more they act up and refuse to respond, as if playing tricks on you. Wireless instruments are like ships adrift at sea; no matter how stable and reliable they may be, even the Titanic isn’t any safer or more secure than a small hut on land. . . Are there any objections? If there is, let’s argue and bicker for fun. :lol
With current technology, wireless meters can probably only be used for monitoring; it’s unlikely that anyone would dare to use them for triggering chain reactions.
It mainly depends on the application environment and the requirements regarding data transmission and refresh times; in fact, manufacturers don’t push wireless solutions forcefully either, but rather choose those that are suitable for the specific application. If the environment is fine and the network setup is okay, the application works well.
