Regarding whether an on-site button needs to be added to the emergency shut-off valve

A batch of emergency shut-off valves (with interlocks) need to be added on site; currently, we are considering whether corresponding local buttons are also necessary. After checking many standards, it is only specified in 7.2.15 of GB50160-2008, \"Code for Fire Protection Design of Petrochemical Enterprises\", that a shut-off valve should be installed on the extraction pipelines of liquefied hydrocarbon equipment near the base of the equipment. When the distance between a liquefied hydrocarbon unit with a volume of over 50 m3 and its extraction pump is less than 15 m, such a shut-off valve shall be a remotely operated valve with a manual function; the distance between the local operation button of the remotely operated valve and the extraction pump shall not be less than 15 m. I would like to ask if there are any other specifications regarding the local control buttons for cut-off valves. Thank you! ! !
I’m not sure what the regulations require, but I’ve never seen any buttons set up; there’s a button to shut off the gas supply in emergency situations, and in even more urgent cases, one has to run away
There are no specific regulations; so far, the older version of process packages I’ve come across require a manual switch to be installed 15 meters away from the site, while in all other cases, interlock button switches are placed on the control panel in the control room. It’s rare to find such switches installed directly at the site. As for the valve used for maintaining pressure throughout the entire system, a dual safety mechanism is employed – two switches, one at the site and another in the control room. In most cases, the remaining switches are located on the auxiliary control panel in the control room. If there are any guidelines, please feel free to share them for discussion.

The signal generated by this switch is sent directly to the solenoid valve of the pneumatic actuator, or to the ESD activation mechanism of electro-hydraulic or electric actuators, or to the corresponding SIS system, so as to allow manual closure of the emergency shut-off valve in emergency situations.
