Hey everyone, have you used or are you familiar with devices for online infrared measurement of chemical concentrations? Any insights?
Yes, it is common to use non-spectral infrared techniques to measure the concentrations of certain gas components; carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, nitrogen oxides, and simple hydrocarbons can all be measured in this way. For liquids, FTIR or NFTIR is generally used more frequently, and ATR measurement can be applied to certain samples. There’s not much in my mind; I just know a little bit.
